PCCU is *just* a simple TUI-styled cleaning tool for windows/linux
This project (PCCU Windows and PCCU Linux) is deprecated, because apparently making a cleanup script isn't as easy as i would have expected, aside of OS cache (especially each and every Linux- distribution specific cleanup commands), and application cache (eg. browsers, and its forks with different directories). And I have too much things to do in real life, and i don't have more time to maintain this project anymore, so this project is now archived...
- Simple, written in Bash, should be compatible with all Linux.
- Fast, no heavy bloats while maintaining interactivity.
- Interactive Terminal UI/TUI.
Short argument | Long argument | Info |
---|---|---|
-h | --help | Displays help page |
-c | --clean | Cleans certain things, possible values:cache,aptcache,aptpkgls,bashistory,journal,oldkern,sysdcoredump,trashbin,cacheall,clipboard,dnscache,swap,ram,badshortcut |
? | --color | Enables color (possible values:yes,no. default:auto) |
- automatic color checking uses $TERM variable to check if there's any text saying "color". if there is, assume its supported and turn it on. you can force to turn it on or off using --color argument.
- this repo might get merged with windows pccu for simpler maintenance.
