ππΏ Hey there! Iβm Divine Odazie, a Cloud Native Engineer and Developer Advocate with experience in Backend Engineering, DevOps, Technical Writing, Public Speaking, Product Management, and Startups.
I started my career as a Founder attempting to build a startup. I have worked for companies in Lagos and London, like PearWheel as a Software Engineer and Zumvie as a Technical Content Manager. Currently, I am an Independent DevRel (Developer Relations Engineer) and Technical Writer working with companies like Spacelift, Mia-Platform, and mvpGrow. And I am also building a Cloud Native/DevOps learning platform called EverythingDevOps.
PS: I studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering in University (College)
I am passionate about helping developers adopt cloud native technologies and build scalable, reliable, and secure applications. I am also a strong advocate for open source software (even though I donβt contribute as much I would like π) and believe that it is essential for innovation.
Aside from the world of software, I enjoy watching and playing football (soccer), listening to good music, traveling (I love airports but dread them too π), and having fun in my own way.
I have written over 100 technical articles for several organizations in the past 3 years and contributed to open source documentation. Below are some highlights:
- Case study on my work on Cilium documentation
- Kubernetes Sidecar Container - Best Practices with Demo (Logging with Fluentd and Amazon S3)
- How to run Minikube on an Apple M1 chip without Docker Desktop
- Kubernetes Secrets β How to Create, Use, and Manage
- Building x86 Images on an Apple M1 Chip
- Jenkins in Docker: Running Docker in a Jenkins container
- Automating Dependency Updates for Docker Projects (This content has a marketing approach to it)
I have given a few talks, and below are links to some of them that showcase my speaking and presentation proficiency. I will write them in the format of {Conference}-{Talk title}.
