How to control Spotify app on Android device? #668

I am stuck trying to figure out how to activate the Spotify app on Android with the web api. I can get the list of devices but if the app is not running, the phone is not on the device list, and even if it is, it is not shown as active and I don't have a way of telling which device is the correct one. I see I could use the Spotify App Remote SDK but this seems difficult to integrate since I am using Xamarin. Is there any way to remote control the app using SpotifyAPI-NET? |
