Yes they are a bit outdated, they were written before proton. |

You're more than welcome to pull request it. There's nothing wrong with still using the old method of using steamcmd command line tool to obtain the assets. |
Alright that's true but I do think that both instructional options so be present 🙂

Hey just to inform you that the Linux instructions are wrong and you do not need Windows to install the game, with the Steam version you can just install with proton enabled or install the GOG version with wine than just copy the OpenJK files into the directory of either the GOG installed version or the Steam version in. There is no need for Windows or no point in mentioning Windows in the instructions :)
