Corrected for a condition where the axis API thread would fail and not notify the overall script that it had died. The script now checks to see if the API thread is alive, and if not it kills the process. Currently system is set to kill the container and reboot if the thread fails.

Addresses Issue 22. Full system testing has been ongoing for four continuous months to evaluate the fix. During that time the system never locking up.

Corrected for a condition where the thread would fail and not notify the container that it had failed.  Currently system is set to kill the container and reboot if the thread fails.
