This script is developed by Ginsea Chen of CATAS You can use this script to perform pfam database searching and count the searching results You need to install pfamscan.pl and HMMSCAN before you using this script You can edit pfam.properties file for sumbitting some information about script using, such as DB represent the location of pfam database SCRIPT represent the location of pfamscan.pl, QUERY means the location of input fasta file. You can use this script through typing "python run_pfam.py" in terminal, but you should make sure pfam.properties is located in your work directory.
