My name is Gábor Mészáros, Assoc. Prof. at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, and the person behind the Genomics Boot Camp YouTube channel.
Recently I made a series of videos called "Introduction to Genomics", and here I share the corresponding PowerPoint presentations. Feel free to use it in full or in part for your courses. No strings attached. If you like the materials, perhaps you could leave a comment directly in the comment section for any of the videos. This way I will have a bit of an overview of which institutions and countries it is being used. Also, it helps with the YouTube algorithm.
The video series provides an introduction to the general concept of genomics, with a strong focus on the use of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker data. Only general knowledge of biology and some basic knowledge of genetics is required.
