makecpt got an improved -A syntax awhile ago but we forgot about grd2cpt. Now both have the same syntax (all backwards compati le with the older syntax).

Mostly missing tabs, extra spaces, wrong argument order, etc. However, this PR includes a bug fix that caused
to give SEGV.
