Welcome to the "Globalization Strategy Playbook" repository. The playbook published here was written by the 12 participants of the GILT Leaders Forum and describes strategies for Localization and Globalization Professionals. Please refer to the readme.md file for detailed information about this book in English.

As of July 29, 2022 the book has been translated into Russian by LocalTrans and into Italian by Creative Words. Another company has undertaken a translation projects to make this publication available in Chinese, and will be published here as soon as the work is completed. The translation, as well as any other development of this material is allowed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License as long as the work is not monetized and the derivative work is published under the same license as the original. An appropriate credit must be given to the original work.

If you or your company would like to translate the book, please send and email to the Strategic Thinking Task Force, specify the language(s) you are interested in translating this work to and request the corresponding language folder(s) to be created.

All the files requiring translation (including readme.md, playbook.md, license, stylesheet and graphics) can be found in the english folder.

Once the translation work has been completed, please create a branch in this repository for a corresponding language folder, create a pull request and email the translated PDF to the Strategic Thinking Task Force.
