AuGeo combines augmented reality with GIS. Display feature data upon a live camera view so you can explore your data. Follow these steps to try AuGeo out yourself!

Get data

  1. Launch AuGeo and sign in to your ArcGIS organization or sign in with a public ArcGIS account
  2. Choose a feature data set to display
  3. Zoom in to your area of interest on the map, and choose to download data
  4. Switch to the first person view of the data

Configure data display

  1. If you have a slide bar on the first person view - scroll to zoom in or out (scroll bar only visible if your device camera has zoom. Shows more or less features)
  2. Click the Menu (top right hand corner) to alter popups, grid and improve sensor performance
  3. Optionally scroll side (pitch and roll) and or bottom (compass) sliders to modify the data visible in the first person view. NB: side scrollers are only visible if your device does not have pitch and roll sensors)
  4. Optionally click on the overview map (circle) to go back to the map view

Explore your features

  1. Click pop-up once to select
  2. Click pop-up twice to see full page view of feature information
