Bored Cat is an interactive application designed to entertain cats with various on-screen games and animations.
- Mouse Chase: A mouse that moves realistically across the screen, reacting to the cat's attempts to catch it.
- Laser Pointer: An interactive red dot that can be controlled by the mouse or move autonomously.
- Fish Tank: A virtual aquarium with different types of fish, bubbles, and interactive feeding.
- Yarn Ball: A physics-based yarn ball that unravels as it moves and can be interacted with via mouse.
- Improved physics and animations in all games
- Added user interaction in Yarn Ball and Fish Tank games

- Install the required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt - Run the application:
python -m bored_cat.main
Launch the application and choose a game from the main menu. Each game is designed to capture a cat's attention and encourage play.
- Use the spacebar to pause/resume games
- Press 'M' to mute/unmute sound effects
- In Yarn Ball and Fish Tank, use the mouse to interact with game elements
Game settings can be customized by editing the settings.json file in the project root directory.
Pull requests are welcome. For major changes, please open an issue first to discuss what you would like to change.
