Clean up the git-workshop repository #68

I will contribute to a PhD course on Open Science in Copenhagen that is organized by @CPernet and @melanieganz. The workshop program is listed here. We are currently preparing and will try to make all source material Open Access.

As we already have this material for the git/github hands-on course, I want to clean it up so that I can reuse it.

I used it today for the Copenhagen PhD course on reproducible computational data science. It worked very well, kudos to @aranas and @KristijanArmeni for setting this up!
