Threads Clone

Welcome to Threads Clone, a web application where users can create their accounts, post their thoughts, read other users' threads, and interact with them.

Tech Stack

  • Next.js 13: Next.js is a popular React framework that enables server-side rendering, routing, and more.
  • Tailwind CSS: A utility-first CSS framework that makes it easy to style your web application.
  • Clerk: Clerk is used for authentication and user management, making it easy to add user accounts and secure your app.
  • MongoDB: MongoDB is the chosen database to store user data, posts, and interactions.

Getting Started

To clone and run the Threads Clone app locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/threads-clone.git
    cd threads-clone
  2. Install the project dependencies:

npm install

Create a .env.local file in the root directory of the project and add the required environment variables:

  1. Start the development server:
npm run dev

Open your browser and access the app at https://localhost:3000.
