Welcome to the Babel2 wiki! Babel is an enhanced crosswalk tool developed for BookOps - New York Public Library and Brooklyn Public Library - to take vendor data from a spreadsheet and create MARC21 format bibliographic and order records in the Sierra ILS.

• Change language, vendor, audience, material, PO, order#, bib#, wlo#, and add order notes and comments for the entire cart or individual records in the cart. *Change cart status to In Works or Finalized

• Create a MARC file from a finalized cart,
• Create an Order sheet
• Link ID's

• View, Create, Edit, or Delete Fund codes and names for all users

• View, Create, Edit, Copy, or Delete distribution grids. System and user specific

• Import vendor spreadsheet to create a cart

• Create, Edit, or Delete the values used by the application
