HelloWorld

Hello-Word : How to create a new Component , register it in Module.ts and use the Component via its selector as an Element in HTML so that we can render the Components Template. Example of Interpolation {{}} for field (attribute) and method.

Angular Project Structure

- e2e: end2end test for our Application. Write test.

- node_modules: stores all the third-party libraries that our App depends upon. *Only for development

when we compile our Application for production part of the third-party libraries are put in a Bundle and deployed with our Application.

- Src: source folder, contains the source code for our application.

  app:

- assert: for static files, images icons etc

- environments: to set/store configuration settings for different environments

- index.html: HTML file that contains our Angular Application

- main.ts: starting point of our App. (Boostraps the Main Module of our Application (AppModule)

- styles.css: for adding global styles to our Application

- package.json: is a standard file for every node project. 

- Dependency : Determines the libraries the Application depends upon.

- Tsconfig.json: contains settings for TypeScript compiler , to compile to JavaScript.

This project was generated with Angular CLI version 1.3.2.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http:https://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the -prod flag for a production build.
