EHX's CMOS distortion
they made one of these with a 21ax7 a few years back I think but the original used a CMOS inverter chip... like a gainier red llama.... very fuzzy. reminds me of a mesa mkIV in furriness. Probably valuable now. Very Noisey even for a CMOS device. I suspect that the AC/DC transformer inside is the source. I should try one of the recent nano series ones that run on 9vDC

Add artistUsed for a solo at 3:06 in this March 25, 1987 performance of "Cold Shot" at Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Despite the low resolution of the video, Electro-Harmonix confirms the vintage Hot Tubes in this July 10, 2012 blog post and this September 2, 2013 Twitter post.
The Edge utilized the Electro-Harmonix EH-1335/EH-3075 Hot Tubes overdrive pedal during U2's Pop era, as evidenced by a photograph in the "Pop Pedals 2" album on Photobucket.
