Description
Step into a world of tonal versatility with the Electro-Harmonix Hot Tubes Nano, a revival of the classic 1970s overdrive pedal. This compact yet powerful device isn't just an overdrive pedal; it's a dynamic extension of your guitar that responds to your touch and playing intensity. Play harder, and the Hot Tubes Nano reacts with aggression; dial back, and it cleans up smoothly, mimicking the behavior of a tube amplifier.
For the purists, the Hot Tubes Nano also features a tone circuit bypass switch, allowing you to completely remove the tone circuit from your signal path for an authentic, uncolored sound. Housed in a sturdy die-cast chassis, this pedal is built to endure the rigors of gigging, practice, and studio sessions. The Electro-Harmonix Hot Tubes Nano is not just an overdrive pedal; it's a key to unlocking a wider range of tonal possibilities.
Key Features:
- Based on the iconic 1970s CMOS Hot Tubes pedal
- Highly responsive to playing dynamics, offering tube-like overdrive
- Tone On/Off feature to bypass the tone circuit for a pure signal path
- True Bypass design ensures no degradation of the guitar's signal
- Comes with a 9V battery, can also be powered by an optional AC adapter (sold separately)

From Boost to Fuzz. It does everything.
The voice of this pedal is very unique. Yo can use it as a boost, as mild OD, roaring dist and even fuzz around the 5 o'clock gain setting. Pairs well with other gain pedals. The bass response is HUGE !

Overlooked Overdrive
Works great as a light touch-sensitive overdrive but also as a wooly fuzzed out drive. It’s very much reactive to volume input. I was super impressed from the first time I plugged it in.

Perfect Tube like Overdrive.
From slight overdrive to fuzz like distortion, this little reissue pedal is exactly what it says it is. Great for bass. I use it live aswell as in the studio.

Excellent
It was one of my first pedals and I am very satisfied with the ehx Hot Tubes. For a moderate price, you get a very versatile pedal. With the overdrive knob at the minimum, it can serve you as a boost, in addition to modifying the tone to give you different colors. With the knob in the middle, your amplifier starts to roar. With the knob at 3, it's a very powerful overdrive and with the knob at maximum, it's a bomb, being a very extreme saturation for genres like shoegaze. In conclusion, I love this pedal, I highly recommend it.
