Wiktionary:Ingush transliteration

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

These are the rules concerning transliteration in Ingush entries. It follows Gippert, J.: Caucasian Alphabet Systems Based Upon the Cyrillic Script. (TITUS) (https://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/didact/caucasus/kaukschr.pdf), with the exception of Ingush e and о, which are transliterated as e and o, and with the addition of the custom-transliterated letter яь (). The letters found only in Russian loanwords follow the scholarly transliteration for Russian.
