Betty Cooper Hearnes-separate article
Betty Cooper Hearnes should have her article be brought back. She had a separate political career by serving in the Missouri House of Representatives. State legislators are consider notable. Betty Hearnes may had been First Lady of Missouri but that fact alone should not had her article be merged with that of her husband Warren Hearnes. She was in the Missouri General Assembly and therefore, notable in her own right. Thank you-RFD (talk) 14:41, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

WP 1.0 bot announcement
This message is being sent to each WikiProject that participates in the WP 1.0 assessment system. On Saturday, January 23, 2010, the WP 1.0 bot will be upgraded. Your project does not need to take any action, but the appearance of your project's summary table will change. The upgrade will make many new, optional features available to all WikiProjects. Additional information is available at the WP 1.0 project homepage. — Carl (CBM · talk) 03:37, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Brentwood, Missouri
I feel that the Wikipedia page for Brentwood, Missouri should be changed. Not only did Brentwood High school win the 2009 National Blue Ribbon of Excellence, so did one of Brentwoods elementary Schools. Mark Twain Elementary of Brentwood, Missouri won the the Missouri Gold Star School Honor and the National Blue Ribbon of Excellence for 2009. This is a very big Honor not only for Brentwood to have two schools ranked this high out of all united states schools, but also a huge Honor for Mark Twain, which is being overlooked! State Parks
Hi everyone. I've taken up as a project to flesh out & expand some of the wiki entries on Missouri state parks. I need some advice / questions: 1) Does anyone know of a template for an infobox that could be standardized for all parks with a list of possible amenities (boating, cabins, equestrian trails, etc) then the ones available at each specific one could be checkmarked, etc. I'm not skilled at creating new infoboxes, so I'd like to just alter an existing template if possible. Make sense? 2) Would using pics of various state parks grabbed off of the official Mo. DNR websites be allowable for use in wiki entries under "fair use" doctrine or "public" yada yada? We have some beautiful parks here in our state, would be a shame to not show them off in the articles with some pics. Some of the Wiki Commons rules get so draconian and confusing it just makes my head spin! lol Sector001 (talk) 02:27, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Sector, this really needs to be done; it's exciting to see someone take interest in it. I don't really know the answers to any of your questions at the moment, but I'd be willing to help. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask. Grey Wanderer (talk) 02:49, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- I'll help--I just bought a huge book with all the parks listed; this could be big-time DYK material too! I'm sure there's some {{infobox park}} or other. Fair use does not apply there, though. —fetch·comms 00:44, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- {{Geobox|Protected area}} seems to be the standard. —fetch·comms 00:53, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Conflicting Information
Ludwigsburg is cited as the sister city of St. Charles starting in 1996, while St. Charles is listed as the sister city in the Ludwigsburg article beginning in 1995. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.91.202.216 (talk) 01:22, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- If possible, find a reliable source to verify the date, or just remove it from both. —fetch·comms 19:58, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
This list is largely complete, but has bits and pieces of information missing, and needs images filled in - any help in completing it would be much appreciated. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:54, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Wiki's for Missouri politicians
Hi folks. I've been working on expanding existing Wiki's for Mo. government officials and creating ones for those that were lacking (i.e. Walter Naylor Davis). I've been tagging them as unassessed. Do I do the assessing (doesn't seem right) or is there a committee of some sort that does that? This is a new area for me so I'm a bit confuzzled. Here are some I created besides Davis -- Mike Parson (politician), Jay Wasson, Mike Kehoe, Dan W. Brown (politician), Jason T. Smith (politician), Tishaura Jones. My goal was to at least have a Wiki for all the current leadership of the Mo. General Assembly. Hope I've not made a mess of things or more work for others =)Feedback? Advice? Sector001 (talk) 19:31, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
- You can assess it as long as you don't call it a GA or FA, etc. without going through the proper review processes. If an article you create is start-class, just mark it as such; it saves time for others. Regarding the actual articles you created, there are citation templates available to format the references in a standard format. You can use {{cite book}}, {{cite web}}, etc. between the <ref> and </ref> instead of a plain link (https://somewebsite.com , etc.). If you go through your created articles and do this, they will look much nicer! Also, if you didn't know, the did you know process lets you get your created articles on the Main Page. The basic requirements are: 1 article must be at least 1500 characters or prose long, not including references or lists, etc.; 2 OR article must have been expanded with new text at least five times the amount of prose characters before OR two times the amount of prose characters before if the article is about a living person; 3 the article must be nominated for did you know within five days of its creation or expansion; 4 the article must not have any maintenance/cleanup tags on it or be very lacking in references/other serious issues. Full rules are at this page; you should consider nominating for DYK the next time you create an article as it gives exposure tor your work. Cheers, /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 01:58, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
Peabody Energy cont.
As I have a WP:COI with this article, I posted about earlier revisions to the Peabody Energy article on this WikiProject’s talk page and was hoping someone might again be willing to take a look at some additional revisions I proposed to the article's Black Mesa controversy section. Thanks for your time. JamesClyde (talk) 15:08, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
It seems we have it that Eagleton served as Lieutenant Governor and US Senator, concurrently from December 1968 to January 1969. Is this actually correct? GoodDay (talk) 00:24, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Photos of County Courthouses
I have a personal project concerned with gathering/taking quality photographs of all county courthouses in Missouri. The page I use to organize this is in the User namespace at User:Kbh3rd/Courthouses. As the map there shows, any help from folks in the western or south-western parts of the state would be a boon. If you upload a courthouse picture, please do so to Commons. If you'd take the time to notify me of any additions so that I can update the map and table, I'd surely appreciate it. --Kbh3rdtalk 00:26, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Help needed from K.C
I made a few long road trips this summer & fall and removed a lot of red from this map. But I don't know when I'd ever make it up to Rock Port. Help with that and some of the others in the Kansas City orbit would sure be appreciated.
There's also that swath from Vienna to Osceola. I might arrange a pleasant springtime drive for those if they're not taken care of by then. --Kbh3rdtalk 16:16, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
- Never got help from K.C. Took a 980-mile "fall color tour" and got photos of all the remaining courthouses. Now it's time to get replacements for the poor-quality photos. --Kbh3rdtalk 07:31, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
I proposed a split because this company is not the same one previously called Furniture Brands International. There was a mistake in one of my sources and I wasn't sure what the policy was. I have finally decided since the companies are separate there should be two articles. Any objections?
Also, Furniture Brands should remain in WikiProject Missouri but Heritage spent only a short time there. It has moved to North Carolina.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 19:19, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
Wings of Hope (charity)
Would someone from WP:MO mind taking a look at Wings of Hope (charity) and assessing it? Also, the sourcing seems a bit weak, so I'm not sure if it satisfies WP:ORG. Thanks in advance. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:27, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
US 50,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject United States/The 50,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more states than they might otherwise work on. If there's the interest I will start 1000 State Challenges like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of states regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for the US and your specialist/home state like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every state, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any state sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thankyou.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:19, 1 November 2016 (UTC)
