Welcome to WikiProject Philadelphia Phillies. Some Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of Philadelphia Phillies and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
Other : Add WikiProject Banners to talk pages of Phillies-related articles (all players on the 25-man roster or DL, as well as current managers and coaches are complete); review articles listed below under assessment; add Banner Shells to talk pages with 3 or more WikiProject Banners (most player pages will have at least three, for Biography, Baseball, and Phillies). It should also be an eventual long-term goal to get Philadelphia Phillies to GA status (currently B-class). Add list of all Phillies with an All-Star appearance to Philadelphia Phillies award winners and league leaders.
Killervogel5 (talk·contribs) - I have been a contributor to the Phillies page and helped rebuild the Phillies season records page as well. One of my main goals as part of the WikiProject Philadelphia Phillies is to get historical season pages completed. There are a lot of blanks. Sometime in the near future, I will make an effort to organize task forces for the historical seasons, perhaps by decade or some other constraint of time. I've also volunteered to be the project coordinator, so you can direct questions to me here if you'd like.
PBAbowler300 (talk·contribs) - I will be writing synopses, for the newsletter, of each week's Phillies games, after the Sunday game, including game summary and highlights, plus a pick for player/s of the game.
Angel Seda (talk·contribs) - I have been a Phillies fan since I was a little kid and I could always make sure that the uniforms are up to date.
Eagle4000 (talk·contribs) - I too have been a Phillies fan since I was a little kid, in the mid-1960s. My brothers and I wore No. 14 (Jim Bunning) pajamas. When the Phils were playing at night on the West Coast (L.A. and San Fran), I listened to the transistor radio (next to my ear) as I lay in bed (supposedly asleep). I too am happy to help in whatever way I can.
ILegit (talk·contribs) - I've been a Phillies fan all my life. I'll be glad to help contribute in any way i possibly can.
TiMike (talk·contribs) - Longtime Phillies fan as well, will help out however I can.
Sportsguy17 (talk·contribs) - Red Sox are my home team and I root for my Red Sox, but I also like the Phillies and I root for them as well, as long as they're not playing the Sox .

Verified length, date and ref. The first hook doesn't seem very eye-catching to me (though maybe it would if I knew anything about baseball...) I'd vote for the second. Olaf Davis | Talk 10:48, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
On 15 July, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Mike Cervenak, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
