Veerashaiva
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Veerashaiva. RI talk 13:07, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- Veerashaiva and Lingayatism is about same topic stop removing redirect,
- If you want to add about Panchacharyas you can add it in Panchacharyas RI talk 13:09, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- stop pushing Hindutva ideology RI talk 15:05, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- No one is pushing Hindutva Ideology. The topic is controversial and everyone is free to discuss on it. It exists since 2004, No need to remove whole article. Every opinion Matters, stop vandalizing the article and abide by the rules of Wikipedia. Thank You ! PerspicazHistorian (talk) 08:38, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- You copied lot of content from other lingayat related articles and added it to Linagayt Vani, you didn't give attribution to original authors ,Wikipedia:ATTREQ, also most of this content no where related to Lingayat vani , it actually belongs to other subcastes of Lingayatism, your pushing Hindutva agenda, Wikipedia:NPOV RI talk 15:19, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
- I respect Your opinion, but do not vandalize any article by deleting the whole content. Discussion forums are there for a reason. You are engaging in vandalism, {{uw-vandalism2}}. PerspicazHistorian (talk) 08:45, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- the page provides brief description about panchacharyas, not the whole topic discussed here. PerspicazHistorian (talk) 08:35, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- The lingayatism article already mention brief description about Panchacharyas.
- The Veerashaiva article is full about Panchacharyas only, so stop vandalism blame , RI talk 08:47, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- no it also involves guru lineage, peethas and philosophy too. Lingayat and Veershaiva both are still under controversy, if you say they are the same topic. see: https://www.oneindia.com/india/how-are-veerashaivas-and-lingayats-different-2510776.html https://www.wionews.com/india-news/difference-between-veerashaivas-and-lingayats-36608 https://theprint.in/theprint-essential/who-are-lingayats-veerashaivas-and-why-they-matter-in-karnataka-polls/43421/. @Ekdalian I am reverting the edits. I know you have done a good research on the topic and since you are a more professional editor on Wikipedia, I hope you understand. Thank You ! PerspicazHistorian (talk) 09:27, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Veerashaiva. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ekdalian (talk) 08:44, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- The page is a controversial topic. Deleting the whole page makes no sense. Rather than deleting the whole page from Wikipedia, its better to try reaching an consensus. But the other user keep reverting the edits. Thanks for your advice, applying for page protection. Thank You ! PerspicazHistorian (talk) 08:51, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Lingayatism#Lingayatism read second paragraph of that section, Panchacharyas are mentioned, [1] britanica also mention Lingayat also known as Veerashaiva, the article Lingayatism also mentions the same , the redirect is correct,
- You want to prove Mythological Panchacharyas are founders of Veerashaiva, that's why your removing redirect, RI talk 08:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- I am already mentioned in talk page of Lingayat Vani why I given redirect, but your not ready to discussion, your blaming other editors as vandals . RI talk 09:01, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- that's not a valid point. Most of the content is well researched and cited. PerspicazHistorian (talk) 09:04, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Despite of warning your continuing your POV RI talk 09:05, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- 1) The article addresses all the opinions.
- 2) The intro itself proves how liberal the article is. Nothing promotes the hindutva ideology. What do you wanna say, whole article is hindutva? PerspicazHistorian (talk) 09:06, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- The article is not about Lingayat Vani, your copied it from other Lingayat related articles isn't, RI talk 09:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Lingayat Vani are separately addressed in the article. You can't say whole article has been copy pasted. Its a work of research and makes Wikipedia a more useful alliance of information gathered from various sources. We can discuss it in the talk page, create a discussion but do not abruptly delete the whole article. If that's not vandalism, what else should i call it? Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Bhimashankaralinga Shivacharya, you may be blocked from editing. In this edit summary from today, your edit summary was "made grammatical corrections, and added citations", when all you really did was remove a template that belonged there. Did you really think nobody would notice? Wikishovel (talk) 18:16, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- i have added citations where needed and removed the tag again. Please raise your concerns on the talk page of Bhimashankaralinga Shivacharya if you still think its a mistake. Thank You ! PerspicazHistorian (talk) 14:10, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Lingayat Vani. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. - You are still involved in the discussion, and the AFD discussion has not ended yet. An administrator will close the discussion when they think it's appropriate to do so. I doubt they will close it soon, as there has been input from few editors so far. Wikishovel (talk) 09:10, 3 December 2024 (UTC)

Public domain material
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Devane (clan). You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. Diannaa (talk) 23:08, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
