Bold:Refine
[edit]Per this edsum [1], just thought you might like to read this essay: Wikipedia:Bold-refine. My second edit was a refinement and neither a reversion nor an implementation of consensus. Further refinements are welcome, of course. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 14:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Homer’s Enemy
[edit]Your Last revision was bad. S'S are NOT necessary and Bart’s subplot takes the bottom. 108.162.28.226 (talk) 15:08, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
Hi. It is a bit odd that you have come to my talk page for your second edit. I think you're probably a sockpuppet. That said, and making a big effort to AGF, here is the Manual of Style ref in question.
Singular nouns For the possessive of singular nouns, including proper names and words ending in s, add 's (my daughter's achievement, my niece's wedding, Cortez's men, the boss's office, Illinois's largest employer, the US's partners, Descartes's philosophy, Verreaux's eagle). Exception: abstract nouns ending with an /s/ sound when followed by sake (for goodness' sake, for his conscience' sake). If a name ending in s or z would be difficult to pronounce with 's added (Jesus's teachings), consider rewording (the teachings of Jesus).

- Hi NEDOCHAN, thank you. I learnt about nouns ending with "s" sound when followed by "sake" grammar above :). Have a good day. Cassiopeia talk 20:48, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- Nice one Cass - hope you're well. NEDOCHAN (talk) 08:53, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
Brabo is a gi-only choke
[edit]Hi mate, brabo chokes are exclusively possible in the gi as you are choking someone with the gi itself. It's impossible to brabo choke anyone in e.g. the UFC because they aren't wearing any clothing to choke with. What you're conflating it with is called a D'Arce choke. You can D'Arce people who are wearing the gi too so don't assume it's a brabo choke or D'Arce depending on gi-status. But you can certainly not brabo choke anyone in no-gi.
I'll fix this in the Chimaev article but if you've done these edits in any other fighter's pages please consider fixing them yourself.

- Hi. The source for fighter records is at the bottom of the infobox. Thanks. NEDOCHAN (talk) 21:19, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
