Hello, I saw that you help to add a audio sample for Lena Meyer song at Eurovision Satellite in 2010, please cand you put an audio sample for Paula and Ovi song in the infobox, to this page Miracle (Paula Seling and Ovi song).

Thanks a lot, I speak in the name of Paula manager, means a lot for us. Audio Sample for Miracle 2A02:2F0E:D2EF:FFFF:0:0:4F74:FFC3 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 10:14, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I told you that Angelina Jolie was pregnant but you kept deleting it. I told you that she was!

[edit]

Hi

[edit]

Hello I'm not sure if anyone has formaly Welcomed you yet so here goes

Angelina Jolie

[edit]

Why did you remove that she was a fashion model? It is important to state what type of model a person was. In this case, Angelina was a fashion model. Lil Flip246 15:35, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox should only state her current (or recent) occupation and she hasn't been a fashion model for 15 years. All she does are occasional photo shoots or some modeling for advertising. Plus it is already mentioned in the very first sentence ("former fashing model"), so please stop adding that to her infobox. Also do not add information based on blogs or internet forums as per WP:RS and you have to use the existing citation style (WP:CITE); footnotes not embedded HTML links on Angelina Jolie. I reverted all your edits again, since they could easily be considered vandalism. You just cut off sentences for what you consider important information ("Before Jolie began a career as an actress, At the age of 14 she was a fashion model ..."). -- EnemyOfTheState 18:47, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jake Gyllenhaal FAC

[edit]

Hello, since your vote to oppose on Jake Gyllenhaal's FAC, critical commentary has now been added. Would you mind relooking at the article and either reconsidering or providing more critical points? Thankyou. Dev920 15:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Angelina Jolie FAC

[edit]

I am very disappointed to see that the FAC failed right in the middle of our discussion! And yet Jake Gyllenhaal is still listed! I truly do not understand how this process works sometimes. I think the Jolie article is very, very good. If you decide to renominate in the future, please let me know. I would be happy to support it now. If you renominate it too quickly, you'll have people crying "bad faith" at you, but if you leave it a while - let me know. Rossrs 02:08, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was pretty surprised to see the nomination closed after merely 5 days myself. The article certainly was on a very good way. I guess there is no point debating this, but the article has probably a good chance now, if it's renominated in a few weeks. -- EnemyOfTheState 10:53, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's an opportunity to further fine-tune, I guess. I'm mystified, but.... strange things happen. You don't seem discouraged, and I'm glad - quite often it's the luck of the draw as to who's looking at FAC at the time of a particular nomination. I'm going to be away for about 3 weeks, but I hope you'll remind me when it's nominated again. Rossrs 13:28, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:JolieTattoo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:JolieTattoo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

Angelina Jolie

[edit]

Please stop your current edit war on Angelina Jolie, otherwise it has to be considered vandalism. This article is a featured article, therefore has gone through a number of reviews and is considered on of the best on Wikipedia. Your current edits are not helping in any way and only diminish the quality of the article.

As I tried to point out to you several times now, the lead section should not be cut down, as WP:LEAD states that an article of that length should have a lead of three or four paragraphs. Also, including two different styles of citation and emphasizing quotes that would be interesting for tabloids is not a good idea. On top of that your formating is sloppy ("Brad Pitt ( while he is filming , in a relationship that has attracted worldwide media attention [4]") cutting off sentences, using wrong forms for citations (please see WP:Manual of Style and WP:CITE), removing wikilinks from dates which is against WP:DATE, and you still haven't familiarized yourself with Template:Infobox actor obviously, as you still insist to include a wrong format for the awards in the infobox.

I would ask you not to do major edits on this article unless you read the Wikipedia guidelines, at least discuss your edits on the talk page first. EnemyOfTheState 13:12, 19 March 2007 (UTC) I am not in war, just like the US should not be. Vandalsim according to who, you? You repeatedly rv othr ppl's edits, you do not own this wiki article. It is a collaboration. The lead does not have to be 3-4 paragraphs, it says this:[reply]

" It should be between one and four paragraphs long... ".

Her 1st role is not notable and so it goes in her career beginnings section. Her 1st 2 marriages are not significant. Tomb Raider and Mr/Mrs Smith are significant. The style manual says info is more important than formatting:

" While quality of writing may be more important than presentation and formatting...One of the joys of wiki editing is that Wikipedia does not demand perfection. "

But if you are hung up on it, fix it dont delete it. I double checked and put the year the ceremony was held and the year the movei was released, what is wrong about that? If you still see errors, correct them please. I did not emphasize a tabloid quote. Ann Curry of NBC is a respected journalist. I fixed the incomplete sentence. The citations have <r ef> </ ref>. You dont know what I am and am not familiar with. Lilkunta 16:08, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've locked the article until the current edit dispute is resolved. I've placed an invitation on Lilkunta's talk page asking him/her to discuss the issue on the AJ talk page, and just for the record I'm likewise inviting you to do likewise (though I know you've already stated your case there). 23skidoo 20:30, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:JolieHackers.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:JolieHackers.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Quentin X 18:32, 27 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please warn vandals after reverting their edits

[edit]

Hello. I'm in agreement with the recent revert you made to Talk:Angelina Jolie. You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Belovedfreak 11:17, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi!

I've seen your contributions related to the Hollywood filmbios with interest. I wanted to request your guidance on something related.

I've put together a list of problems which I've found come up again and again in the H(B)ollywood filmbios and thrown em into one page - here's the link. Whenever you have time, could you have a look? I'd be grateful for your opinion on this.

Thank you for your time,xC | 13:41, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your inputs there! Much appreciated :)
One more request, I was planning to take that page to all the editors working on filmbios currently, which would involve posting to the relevant wikiprojects. Do you believe the page is presentable enough to request community input? If yes, then where all c(sh)ould I take it for further discussion?
Best regards,xC | 17:50, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Jga.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jga.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. High on a tree (talk) 06:57, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have edited the article for tone as you have suggested.[1] Please take a look and see if it's satisfactory. Please understand that although the prose may still be a little heavy handed in places (the "popular" songs, for example), it is supported by the sources. If there is anything more, you can let me know or mention it on the talk page. Take care, María (habla conmigo) 18:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changeling (2008)

[edit]

As you point out, the correct title for this Straczynski-Eastwood-Jolie film is Changeling (2008). This is the title mentioned in the original Variety article (https://www.variety.com/article/VR1117960798.html?categoryid=13&cs=1) announcing the production and the Universal Pictures website (https://www.universalpictures.com/). However, there is another film mentioned in the IMDb with the title Changeling (2008) (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462225/). Unfortunately, the IMDb and the Hollywood press have also referred to the Straczynski-Eastwood-Jolie film as the The Changeling. We need to keep this in mind when correcting the title to reduce confusion.--Dan Dassow (talk) 17:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have just completed a copy-edit of this article. My main changes were to tenses in some sections where in English the present perfect tense is more appropriate. One comment - the article uses a couple of different styles for tables, some with grid lines and visible and shaded backgrounds, whereas the "current squad" table uses no grid lines and no shading in the main part of the table. Perhaps the tables should all use the same format for internal consistency. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 20:39, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Angelina & her awards

[edit]

I am happy to see that you have incorporated some of her awards into the main filmography. Personally, I would love to see the rest of them have the same treatment. My own view of separate awards tables is that it puts a lot of emphasis on the awards outside of the context of the films, roles, etc. I, for one, would support the incorporation of the rest. Wildhartlivie (talk) 11:11, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All of the awards listed in the Awards section are already mentioned in the filmography. If you want to cut the awards table entirely, the discussion should probably be on article's talk page. EnemyOfTheState|talk 11:53, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't presume to suggest major changes on a featured article, especially to the person who was responsible for making it that way. I didn't compare the remaining awards table with the filmography, but I thought perhaps you were moving to combine the two tables. However, since you've added the minor awards, and the major ones are there, the awards table is redundant to the infobox awards and the filmography table. I noticed you'd done away with the succession boxes, which I think is great thing, they are a lot of clutter and are mostly redundant in the majority of articles. This is your article and I respect that (recognizing that no one owns an article. :) Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:30, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary injunction and your use of my monobook script

Hi,

I am pleased to see that you have used my monobook script to remove the autoformatting or linking of dates or other functions; I hope you have found it useful.

This is to let you know that ArbCom has announced a temporary injunction against the "mass delinking of dates". You can still delink dates on an occasional basis; however, you may wish to be cautious and use the script only for its non-date functions until the issue is resolved by an RFC poll. You may wish to express your view on autoformatting and date linking in the RFC at: Wikipedia:Date_formatting_and_linking_poll.

And lastly, I am going to ask you not to revert edits without being able to provide sources for the stated claims. Let's bear in mind that Certification-awards as well as all chart positions must be verifiable; in other words, claiming in edit summary here that Bundesverband Musikindustrie falls behind in certifying records is not a reason enough to revert other editors' edits. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

File source problem with File:Schuhelmets.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Schuhelmets.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hi there- each usage of non-free content requires a separate, specific rationale outlining what the image adds to the article in question, preferably tying it into the article's text. As one of the articles is currently at GAC, it's doubly important to make sure that the non-free content usage is sound. If you have any questions, please ping me on my talk page. Main Page appearance: Angelina Jolie

[edit]

This is a note to let the main editors of Angelina Jolie know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on June 19, 2013. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or one of his delegates (Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), Gimmetoo (talk · contribs), and Bencherlite (talk · contribs)), or start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/June 19, 2013. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie (born 1975) is an American actress, film director, and screenwriter. She has received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress (for her performance in the 1999 drama Girl, Interrupted), two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards, and was named Hollywood's highest-paid actress by Forbes in 2009 and 2011. Jolie promotes humanitarian causes as a Special Envoy and former Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She has often been cited as the world's "most beautiful" woman. Jolie made her screen debut as a child alongside her father Jon Voight in Lookin' to Get Out (1982). Her first leading role in a major film was in the cyber-thriller Hackers (1995). She achieved wide fame after her portrayal of video game heroine Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), and received critical acclaim for her performances in the dramas A Mighty Heart (2007) and Changeling (2008). She made her directorial debut with the wartime drama In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011). Divorced from actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, Jolie now lives with actor Brad Pitt, in a relationship notable for fervent media attention. (Full article...)

strong women
Thank you for quality articles about single strong women, such as today's Angelina Jolie and Susianna Kentikian, and teams like the German women's national football team, and for seeing the "limit to the application of democratic methods", - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Possible removal of AWB access due to inactivity

[edit]

Hello! There is currently a request for approval of a bot to manage the AutoWikiBrowser CheckPage by removing inactive users, among other tasks. You are being contacted because you may qualify as an inactive user of AWB. First, if you have any input on the proposed bot task, please feel free to comment at the BRFA. Should the bot task be approved, your access to AWB may be uncontroversially removed if you do not resume editing within a week's time. This is purely for routine maintenance of the CheckPage, and is not indicative of wrongdoing on your part. You will be able regain access at any time by simply requesting it at WP:PERM/AWB.
