Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

NOTE:I will only make archives once per year, or month if possible.

A barnstar for you!

Small tags

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that in several Articles for deletion pages, you use a <small> tag with the closing </small> in a different block, and this markup causes Misnested tags lint errors or other lint errors. I found and fixed one such error in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ionică Minune. Articles for deletion pages often are transcluded into other pages, propagating lint errors. —Anomalocaris (talk) 13:34, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You did it again in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gerard Ungerman, with this markup:

:<small class="delsort-notice">Note: This discussion has been included in the list of Actors and filmmakers-related deletion discussions.
–<span style="color:#296";">Cupper</span><span style="Color:#1346";">52</span><span style="color:LIGHTGREEN;">Discuss!</span> 13:31, 11 February 2021 (UTC)</small>

Which I fixed this way:

:<small class="delsort-notice">Note: This discussion has been included in the list of Actors and filmmakers-related deletion discussions.</small>
<small class="delsort-notice">–<span style="color:#296";">Cupper</span><span style="Color:#1346";">52</span><span style="color:LIGHTGREEN;">Discuss!</span> 13:31, 11 February 2021 (UTC)</small>

Please try to avoid repeating this error. —Anomalocaris (talk) 22:57, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lalacheruvu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Locality.

Your signature

[edit]

Your signature has some unusual markup.

 • Normal markup for font color is <span style="color:XXX;">...</span>, where XXX is the color and the semicolon is optional. In two of three places, the optional semicolon is sandwiched between two closing quotes. The extra quotation marks don't trigger any error, but it's nonstandard and I recommend omitting them.
 • You are using a four-digit hexadecimal color (#1346), which is interpreted as equivalent to the eight-digit hexadecimal color (#11334466), which is interpreted as two digits each of RGBA, where R is Red, G is Green, B is Blue, and A is Alpha, a measure of transparency. Unless you have a strong reason to use a color that would change depending on the background, I would advise using a standard six-digit hexadecimal color that closely matches.
 • Bold markup can be merged with the span markup.

With these considerations, I would recommend changing your signature from

–<span style="color:#296";">Cupper</span><span style="Color:#1346";">52</span><span style="color:LIGHTGREEN;">Discuss!</span> : –Cupper52Discuss!

to

–<b style="color:#296;">Cupper</b><b style="Color:#9BACB4;">52</b><b style="color:LIGHTGREEN;">Discuss!</b> : –Cupper52Discuss!

If it's important for some reason to have a small number of digits to express the gray, I would use

–<b style="color:#296;">Cupper</b><b style="Color:#9AA;">52</b><b style="color:LIGHTGREEN;">Discuss!</b> : –Cupper52Discuss!

How to make my wikipedia entry constructive enough to stay up

[edit]

Hi! You told me that my recent contribution to the page Gayathri Raghuram was not constructive. Please tell me how I can make it constructive so it stays up on the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnnaW56 (talkcontribs) 10:34, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@AnnaW56: I reverted it because not all the bits you changed were cited with reliable sources. Please try to include a citation for all your changes. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources for more info. Thanks, -Cupper52Discuss! 10:40, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So I need to both cite and refer sources? AnnaW56 (talk) 11:02, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Montrezl Harrell

[edit]

Howdy!

You removed my recent edit on Montrezl Harrell. I actually accidentally hit enter, meaning to make a line break. Sorry - I'm not a big editor.

I was attempting to start a new line and explain the reason I undid the removal of my edit. What's the correct way to do what I was trying to do? Just add my explanation right after everything else in the edit summary? Marcnelsonjr (talk) 20:25, 10 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Marcnelsonjr:, the thing to do is to explain why you think that edit is valid at Talk:Montrezl Harrell, as I see you have done. But please remember that this is an encyclopedia, not a rolling news service, so anything that is included should be considered an important part of the subject's biography by reliable non-news sources. Tonino Accolla

[edit]

Hi. The category that you put in Tonino Accolla’s Wikipedia page should only really be treated as a container category, and in that container category, there’s a selection of categories on Italian actors that can be put on to that page such as what gender they are, what part of Italy they’re from, what medium of acting they focus on whether it’s stage, voice or film acting. So you see, there’s really no need to put in the category "Italian actors".

Ashleworth Court

[edit]

Back in January you placed a refimprove banner on Ashleworth Court. All of the claims in the article appear to me to have citations and I was wondering what you think needd additional citations.— Rod talk 19:21, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the template, because it was obviously incorrect. Cupper52, you are simply creating more work for others by performing such obviously incorrect actions. Be more careful. Phil Bridger (talk) 19:42, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Phil Bridger: I've recently decided to take a break from adding templates for a while now, as I think I want to have more guidance before starting it again. Best regards, -Cupper52Discuss! 10:45, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:Lego Hidden Side 2020 poster.jpg

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Lego Hidden Side 2020 poster.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:59, 2 March 2023 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 11:59, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2027FIBA Basketball World Cup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The redirect 2027FIBA Basketball World Cup has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines.
