Hello, Coolxsearcher1414. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Cragger".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 04:17, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ohio's 1st congressional district, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tim Ryan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:07, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

RfA

[edit]

I noticed you created Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Coolxsearcher1414. Please be aware that while there are no requirements for a certain tenure or number of edits to be an administrator, having less than 1000 edits will mean your RfA is guaranteed to fail if you go live with it. These days, it's not at all uncommon for well qualified candidates to have years of experiences and thousands upon thousands of edits. Please read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and Wikipedia:Advice for RfA candidates before you consider going live with your RfA. --Hammersoft (talk) 16:10, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi there. I notice your edits and discussions about vandalism. Have you considered trying WP:TEAHOUSE as a place to ask questions about how Wikipedia works? A lot of things here are very confusing, and it can be very helpful to have another editor explain where discussions happen/how to navigate things here. Arb request removed as premature

[edit]

Hello Coolxsearcher1414, I removed the Arbcom case request you filed as premature. Arbcom case requests tend to be for much more complicated stressful disputes that have proven difficult to resolve; fortunately an ip vandalizing can usually be resolved by reporting to an admin, WP:AIV, or WP:ANI. Thanks and let me know if you have any questions, Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 04:25, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2026 United States Senate election in Kansas. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 05:09, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
