Learn how to cite
[edit]Hello ClareWhitePlane,
I've noticed that you still use basic URLs as references in your edits. Haven't you learned from last time?
Here's an example of what the correct citation format would look like: Cite web |date=3 July 2024 |title=What’s the Deal With ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl? |url=https://www.thecut.com/article/hawk-tuah-girl-viral-tiktok-video-explained.html |website=The Cut |access-date=5 July 2024
However, you still need to use the <ref> and <(slash)ref> with the {{}} in between the citation template.
Please don't just use the URLs to cite. Your method of citation is still basic and lame in my opinion. Underdwarf58 (talk) 07:54, 28 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Belgium–Ireland relations, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 16:56, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Belgium–Ireland relations, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Warning
[edit]Your recent editing history at List of aspect ratios of national flags shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ―Howard • 🌽33 12:01, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Can I add it back please? ClareWhitePlane (talk) 13:27, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- You may not unilaterally restore the article. It can only be restored with consensus from other editors. ―Howard • 🌽33 13:39, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Why not ClareWhitePlane (talk) 13:48, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Because when the article was nominated for deletion at Articles for deletion, the consensus of the discussion was to turn the article into a redirect. Thus it was determined to wipe the contents of the article and redirect it to a different one. ―Howard • 🌽33 13:54, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
