Template name/scope
[edit]This is very cool! But we need to clarify the template name and/or scope. The cities listed are not only in Dacia but also Moesia, some in Thrace, and even in Dalmatia (considering Roman provinces names/borders). Dacia in Burebista's time did include good parts of Moesia of course. It can simply be called Dacian cities, and then group them by region or list them all as they are.--Codrinb (talk) 15:43, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. I've moved the template to it's new name. Any other suggestions? BineMai 15:46, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, I do not understand what is the scope of the template. For example, Napoca did not exist in the Dacian kingdom, because it was founded by the Romans. Therefore, I really do not understand what "Dacian" means in the context. Based on the logic of the list, we could, for example, label Madrid, Zagreb or Szentgotthard as Roman towns because they are situated in territories that had been for centuries under Roman, even if these towns were established centuries after the Roman withdrawal. Or could we create a template on Roman rulers that includes Queen Elisabeth II, because part of one of her kingdoms used to be part of the Roman Empire? Borsoka (talk) 20:59, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
Zaldapa = Murideva ?
[edit]Is Zaldapa (Dacian town) different from Murideva ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.239.218.30 (talk) 08:58, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
- I would be surprised if they are the same. What would make them the same? Location? --Codrin.B (talk) 01:32, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
