I have a few things to offer here if they would help work on the article: I have about 400 screenshots which I could edit to remove the channel logos on, so one could be used to illustrate the series; I also have a full list of the voice actors in the show, taken from the closing credits and enough references to push this into full article, complete with sources. I will get to work asap but if someone lets me know how I stand with the screenshots for character recognition, I will try to sort those as well. Thor Malmjursson 10:32, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
The Title Section keeps on changing, and is annoying as this is not correct Information. The information as it is now, is correct! --Nils irl (talk) 11:13, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
i could help by listing the episodes as they air.--Lerdthenerd 11:25, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
There's a logo of Skunk Fu! which would be perfect for the infobox, but I'm not au fait with the whole fair use policy. If anyone can advise me on whether adding the Skunk Fu! logo would be fair, then I'll see what I can do about it. Also, if anyone knows about design and animation style, it would be good to add in, as it does have a flash animation style which is fairly unique to TV animation. Good Sites
[edit]Anyone know any good sites?
nope unfortunately, try googling skunk fu!--Lerdthenerd 12:11, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
the cartoon saloon have a beta of the official site. its not quite ready for public viewing yet but as soon as it is i'll post a link. AMIRITE 12:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
I've tried adding an external link section twice now, it has got deleted(why?). The official website is skunk fu --Nils irl 12:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
I will leave the external link in place now - When you first posted the external link to the Skunk Fu website, the site was not open to accept visitors - there was just a message on the screen telling people that the site would be opening soon. Now as I have just checked it and confirmed the site is open and working, you are welcome to re-add the link if you so wish! Sorry for the trouble, but there was no point having an external link to a non-working site... :) Thor Malmjursson 11:32, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
cast list
[edit]ive found a good source for a list of cast actors here it is,[1]--Lerdthenerd 14:00, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
ive added the names of three of the main voice actors--Lerdthenerd 14:09, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Spelling
[edit]Isn't Skunk Fu supposed to be spelt 'Skunk Fu!' with the exclamation mark? Here: [2] MathiasFox 12:50, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
yeah thats right AMIRITE 11:18, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
No offense but I've edited 2 typos on this article Skunk Fu!--Spittlespat (talk) 17:58, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Broadcast
[edit]Someone changed it to say '...with TG4, which will broadcast Skunk Fu! in the UK (in English).' TG4 is an Irish channel, not British and they broadcast in Irish. If anyone can find out facts to refute this, then please cite it. MathiasFox 10:07, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Would the unregistered user who keeps claiming that TG4 broadcasts in the UK in English, please stop changing this. The source I cited (Cartoon Saloon's blog) clearly states TG4 will broadcast it in Ireland, in Irish. If this is wrong, cite a more recent source! MathiasFox 23:04, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
they have done it again! i might change it back but i might end up breaking the 3RR rule if they persist--Lerdthenerd 14:08, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
reverted it back to Irish--Lerdthenerd 15:38, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
This same unregistered user has also reverted the infobox nationality to 'UK' when it's clearly a collaboration between Irish and Dutch companies. He/She also left the note 'it's a fake reference' without any more details or updates - this is getting silly now, is there anything we can do? MathiasFox 22:37, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
they haven't changed it back yet it's still the way Thor has left it so don't worry--Lerdthenerd 13:59, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Thor has changed it back to irish again after the unruly editor has struck again, the same unruly editor now has an account! they're TG4! --Lerdthenerd 18:32, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Youtube?
[edit]Any Youtube vids of this? If not, could you put them up? Bluecatcinema 11:48, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
|== Jules De Jongh ==
Is the Jules that does Skunk's voice the same one on this page here?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/berkshire/content/articles/2006/01/30/radioberks_jules_de_jongh_feature.shtml Just curious —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cooky-cy (talk • contribs) 12:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
it might be, the article doesn't tell us she provides the voice of Skunk--Lerdthenerd 13:06, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
You know I think it is, she is after all Californian and most of her voice acting is in American accents. Plus I did a search on imdb and I could only find her and some other Jules de Jongh who appeared in a low budget horror movie several years ago and I think it's unlikely to be her, besides it's not everyday you walk into somebody with the name 'Jules de Jongh' really is it?
--Cooky-cy 15:48, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
i agree, it must be some bizaare considence that they have the same name.--Lerdthenerd 17:04, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Yea, It could be her or it's some really unusual coinsidence. Too bad I have absolutely no way of finding out, the best I could find is a page with credits for her role as a radio presenter aswell as her role as Sgt Green in Captain Scarlett. I think I'll make an article about her sometime just to make this page look a bit more interactive.
--Cooky-cy 18:58, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
sure, make an article if you feel it is notable, after all wikipedia guidelines say you should be bold!--Lerdthenerd 08:11, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup
[edit]This article's text is all squiffy and needs a cleanup. Also, someone needs to verify the US roots of the cartoon mentioned in the intro.MathiasFox (talk) 13:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
I have changed the article header back to what it was before. While Hickey and McCoy did work on very early development, their contribution belongs in a "history of development" section-not hijacking the Skunk fu wiki entry page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.198.170.19 (talk) 16:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Theme Tune
[edit]From where does the music taken, the theme played at the start? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beaglebent (talk • contribs) 09:45, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
2nd season?
[edit]Is this true? --Coconutfred73 (talk) 02:31, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
No, but maybe. Because I think they don't make toys for nothing. --88.64.90.185 (talk) 18:54, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Maybe they just didn't do a video of it and they might show ads for a Skunk Fu season 2 on Cartoon Network before January 3rd. Chomper4 (talk) 12:53, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe someday in the mid or late 2020's, if the series get moved to another studio and they don't go bankrupt in the future, Cartoon Saloon might renew a second season and a movie for Skunk Fu! 75.88.127.229 (talk) 08:56, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- I mean if we're lucky one day in the future, if the series get moved to another studio and don't get bankrupt in the future, Cartoon Saloon might renew a second season and a movie of Skunk Fu! I'm not gonna promise you or hope, but there may be hope for the series to return. All we can just do is keep our fingers crossed and then you find out whether or not they will renew a Season 2 and a movie. Not gonna lie to you all, but this is a great show and I love the characters and the anime-influenced moments. 75.88.127.229 (talk) 09:03, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
"Skunky"
[edit]Okey, first: Where's the goddamn source for the character!? second: Who the hell is keep editing it!? --MarcelGER (talk) 20:06, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, and more importantly, what is the big deal about this so-called "new character"? SkrallAgoriSkrallAgori (talk) 12:31, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
