- I think most of what you added should go on the Glasgow North East by-election, 2009 article. This article is to cover the constituency in general and not any single election. It would probably be useful to have a brief 2 to 3 paragraph section summarising the election with a {{main}} link to the by-election article. Road Wizard (talk) 18:08, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
POV issues
[edit]The section on the 2009 election reads like an essay, which is not referenced, not an encyclopaedic article. Phrases include "No less than", "There was concern that", "there was much talk that", "Frustrated by their loss". In addition there are also POV statement that Bain was an opposition candidate despite being Labour. Martin451 (talk) 21:59, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
