Hello. As some of you may be aware, this page is now outdated and therefore there are a number of inaccuracies. In the interest of transparency I am declaring that I work for Almacantar, the owners and developers of Centre Point. I hope to work with external editors to ensure that this Wikipedia article is accurate. Please feel free to contact me on my Talk Page if you have any questions. First paragraph The Times notes that Centre Point, the 34- floor building, is being developed by Almacantar into 82 apartments, a spa, gym, pool and club lounge as well as shops and restaurants. The development of Centre Point started in January 2015 as described by this article in City A.M. The piece also notes that a new square surrounded by shops and restaurants will be built at the bottom of the building and that work is expected to complete in 2017. I would therefore propose replacing the first sentence to the below, which is reflective of the current situation.

Centre Point is a Grade II listed building in Central London. Almacantar, along with Rick Mather Architects and Conran & Partners, is transforming the 34-floor building and converting it into 82 apartments with a spa, gym, pool and club lounge. There will also be a new square built at the bottom of the building with shops and restaurants. The square will be located next to the new Crossrail station at Tottenham Court Road.

Please can we then remove this sentence, as it is now obsolete. It is also misleading as construction works have not completed.

“In 2015 it was converted from office space to luxury flats.[7]”

Construction & History

I believe the section from 2005 now is also not needed. It is also misleading as there are no current tenants in the building. Paramount

Apartment 58

Transport

I've suggested adding reference of the new square earlier on this page so perhaps reference to the square should be removed from this section

 Not done - We do not delete information simply because it is old. Wikipedia is not a current events gazette. If the circumstances have changed, then the wording should simply reflect that change, not be removed. The information, however, may be trivial, which is a different set of reasoning. I second that. We don't delete information just because it is old and not relevant. Wikipedia is also a lagging indicator of events, so we actually wait for a good amount of time before updating stuff. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 05:40, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this page is still inaccurate. Centre Point is not an office building and is 34-storeys high (not 33 storeys). Also included in the article is the fact that the building "is being transformed" ie. the building has not yet been converted into flats.

The other inaccuracy is: As of 2009 occupants included US talent agency William Morris; the state-owned national oil company of Saudi Arabia, Aramco; Chinese oil company Petrochina; and electronic gaming company EA Games. In case another source is required, Camden City Council granted planning permission in 2014 for work on the 34-storey building. This is stated in a number of documents on Camden council's website including the Design & Access statement part 5. As this is more recent then the source used, please can the introduction be amend to reflect the fact that the building is no longer an office one and is 34-stories high

The 9-storey block is also no longer used for office, reference to the office-to-residential conversion is made in this article [1]
