Eliezer A. Albacea was a Filipino professor of computer science credited with inventing the "Leapfrogging SampleSort Algorithm" and one of the key personnel to the establishment of computer science education in the Philippines with the founding of UPLB's Institute of Computer Science in the 1980s.[1]
