Ashton Daniels (born May 29, 2004) is an American football quarterback for the Auburn Tigers. He previously played for the Stanford Cardinal.

Career

Daniels attended Buford High School in Buford, Georgia.[1] As quarterback for the Buford Wolves, he led his team to three straight state championships.[2] He committed to Stanford University to play college football.[3]

Daniels played in 10 games as the team's wildcat QB as a true freshman during the 2022–23 season. He became Stanford's starting quarterback in his sophomore year.[4][5] In his first start, he passed for 249 yards and two touchdowns against Hawaii.[6]

Auburn

On December 16, 2024, Daniels announced he was transferring to the Auburn Tigers.[7]
