Welcome to the February 2015 edition of the Bugle!
This month's Project News page pays tribute to an unprecedented number of recipients of the WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves and every category of the A-Class medal. Congratulations all!
Last month seventeen articles were promoted to Featured or A-Class status, the highest number since May 2014: you can see them all, along with a gallery of new Featured Pictures, in the articles section of this issue. Remember that these articles and images would never achieve their status without the hard work of many reviewers -- we thank them all, and encourage everyone in the project to participate in such reviews.
This month's book reviews section features another contribution from Nick-D, while TomStar continues his commemoration of the centenary of World War I with an op-ed on the dawn of chemical warfare, and a timeline of events during February 1915.

- The WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves has been awarded to:
- Nick-D: in recognition of service as a coordinator, numerous Featured, A-Class and Good Articles, participation in the project's review processes and special projects, service at the Bugle and being always on hand with sound advice. This is Nick's second award, his first being in 2010.
- Adam Cuerden: in recognition of the unprecedented amount of media he has brought up to Featured-Class, which have helped illustrate numerous articles within our scope.

- The contest department completed its 90th round of competition last month. A total of 31 articles were submitted by 10 editors. Parsecboy came first with 59 points from 6 entries to receive the Chevrons, followed by Peacemaker67, who earned the Writer's Barnstar with 36 points from 6 entries. Honourable mentions go to Auntieruth55 (27 points), Ian Rose (26 points), Zawed (20 points), Lineagegeek (18 points), and Tomandjerry211 (16 points in his contest debut). Djmaschek, Tomobe03, and Chris troutman also fielded entries. Please submit any articles you are working on for this month's contest now.
