Speculation
editWhile you are correct when you say Lewis Hamilton is under contract for 2019, that does not automatically mean that he will defend his title. March is still four months away and a lot could happen between now and then that would prevent him from defending his title. What if he is killed in a car accident next week? It's an extreme example, but theoretically possible. You cannot say for sure that it will happen, but you cannot say for sure that it will not. That's why articles about future events avoid using language that suggests they are certain, as per [[WP:CRYSTAL]. 1.129.109.172 (talk) 06:53, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
IP Editor
editReplying here because the discussion page should only really be for discussion of the article's content. As you say, ad hominem and personal attacks seem a recurring theme throughout the IP editor's discussion engagements and the consistently editing from multiple IPs makes very little sense. It's unhelpful to say the least, particularly when they are engaging in AfD discussions where the delicate matter of achieving consensus is key and making multiple contributions from different IPs which could add undue weight to one argument, with no attempt to show that it is the same editor. Best just not to engage, as much as I'd like to call them up on it - it seems they haven't listened before so they're unlikely to change now. - While not strictly against the rules, is certainly poor form to not use an account. His account has quite a long block log and had he been using his account based on his constant edit warring, would be on a long holiday by now. Most of the current / upcoming motor racing articles that he likes to edit appear to be fairly regularly locked down. Coincidence? Fecotank (talk) 06:46, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Motorsports. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Motorsports/Evidence. Please add your evidence by March 13, 2020, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Motorsports/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 00:44, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
