Notice

Kbthompson (born 1955) died in London, England on December 10, 2010. If you leave a message on his talk page, his family will see it. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:27, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Kbthompson made over 40,000 edits on Wikipedia since June 2006 and was a most courteous and helpful administrator on this site since 2007. His contributions of research and writing to artices about music hall, London theatre, and London, in general, were very significant. I will miss him for his collegial and generous spirit. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:00, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

I added a paragraph about Kb at Wikipedia:Deceased Wikipedians. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:10, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Wiki

General interest in Hackney & The East End. Producer of tortured and lengthy, uncited prose - so, all collaborating editors welcome! Some knowledge of local history - moderate ability to research the rest. Also, interested in listed buildings and music halls.

Will add a 'fact' anywhere, if it helps illuminate the world.

Myself

I was born in the East End to a long line of ne'er-do-wells, at last count stretching back to 1585. A friend once said his family came to Bow to sell horses, they're still there because the public transport is so shit. My family's experience must have been much the same.

I have lived in Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, the City of London, Leeds, Luxembourg, France and New York.

I have interests in computer science, psychology and education.

I have eclectic tastes - which is probably another way of saying none

If I can help you, I will. You can also review my :- Block log, Deletion log, and Protection log. (Edifying, it ain't) Uploads

Learn the rules, so you know how to break them properly is not the latest prognostication from Jimbo Wales, but one of the Rules for Living, given by the Dalai Lama.
