Ruby and the Romantics
editRuby's version is one of the most heartbreaking, crushingly sad songs I have ever heard. The relentlessly upbeat accompaniment, with lyrics entirely in the present and future tense, and young, naive, innocent voice. You just know it didn't work out. Nothing that wonderful ever works out. Dreams die. The more I listen to it, the more the innocence hits me, and the sadder it gets. The singer ended up working in department stores and never got paid for her work? Then it's true. The song really was sad. Dave of Maryland (talk) 23:25, 27 November 2011 (UTC)
Jazz instrumental
editKenny Barron has recorded at least one version with at least three other musicians.

External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Our Day Will Come. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}

- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20111207060439/https://www.worldcharts.co.uk:80/world%20charts/european.htm to https://www.worldcharts.co.uk/world%20charts/european.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
