edit- The Searchers released it in April 1964[1] and went to No.1 on the UK Singles Chart[2][3] and the Irish Singles Chart; No.4 in Denmark, No. 3 on Canada's CHUM Chart,[4] No.6 on 24 July 1964 on WLS,[5] and No.16 on 11 July 1964 on the Hot 100.[6]
- Elvis Costello and Amsterdam recorded a version of the song for Liverpool – The Number Ones Album released in 2008.[7]
