Bollworm is the common term for a moth larva that attacks the fruiting bodies of certain crops, especially cotton. The most common moths known as bollworms are:

- Spiny bollworm, Earias insulana

- Corn earworm, Helicoverpa zea
- Tobacco budworm, Heliothis virescens
- Pink bollworm, Pectinophora gossypiella
