Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Two Long Samples On The Page. Both Are About The Diagonal Length Of The Page And Have Been Cut From The Rest Of The Plant. Both Consist Of A Main Stem With Groups Of Tri-Pointed And Toothed Leaves Extending At Various Intervals. One Of The Samples Also Has An Off Shoot. Pairs Of Thorny Seed Structures Extend At Regular Intervals From The Main Stem And Get Closer Together As They Approach The Apex. The First Sample Has No Seed Structures On The Bottom Section While The Second Has Seed Structures Along The Entire Length Of The Sample. The First Sample Is Bent To Fit The Page. They Are Attached With Adhesive And Thin Strips Of White Cloth Tape. The Bottom Section Of The Original Backing Sheet Is Missing. The Remaining Portion Has Been Mounted On A New Sheet And The First Sample Extends Past The Old Backing Sheet And On To The New.
