On December 14th, 2024, Consul, Acting Consul-General Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong attended the event “The Charity for Better and Brighter Eyes” at Wat Dhammaram, Chicago. This event was organized to raise funds to assist people in the southern provinces of Thailand affected by poor visions, poor eye health and in need of refractive lens surgery, hosted by the Thai-American Southerner Association of Illinois. There were around 200 participants to the event from various associations in Chicago, from the State of Illinois and from nearby States.

On December 8th, 2024 Consul, Acting Consul-General Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong attended the ceremony to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, as well as Thailand's National Day and Father's Day. The significant ceremony was held at Wat Dhammaram in Chicago.

On December 3rd, 2024, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago held remembrance ceremony and candlelight service on the occasion of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day, led by Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit and joined by the officers, spouses, along with staff members.

On December 2nd, 2024, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, together with the Thai Trade Center in Chicago and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chicago Office, hosted a reception to celebrate the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand in commemoration of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day.

On November 24th, 2024, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, along with her spouse, and Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong attended a Thanksgiving service at St. Paul Thai Lutheran Church in Chicago
