On November 21, 2018, Gov. Jerry Brown (D) appointed Brown to succeed Judge Timothy Reardon. She was confrimed by the California Commission on Judicial Appointments on December 21, 2018.[1][2]
Brown was previously a judge on the San Francisco County Superior Court from 2013 to 2018. She was appointed on May 21, 2013 by Governor Jerry Brown to succeed Kevin M. McCarthy.[3]
