David Patterson Dyer
David Patterson Dyer (1838-1924) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on February 27, 1907 to replace Gustavus Adolphus Finkelnburg. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 1, 1907, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on November 3, 1919. He served until his death on April 29, 1924. Dyer was succeeded in this position by Charles Breckenridge Faris.
