Clara Burnett
Clara Henderson Burnett (b. August 28, 1941) was a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 9 from 2004 to 2015.
Burnett did not run for re-election to the state House in 2015.
Biography
Burnett earned her B.S. from Jackson State University and M.S. from Delta State University. Her professional experience includes working as a funeral director and teacher.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Burnett won re-election to District 9 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[2]
2007
On November 6, 2007, Burnett won re-election in District 9. She defeated Henry Sonny Nickson, Jr. in the primary election.[3] Burnett ran unopposed in the general election, garnering a total of 4,060 votes.[4]
