Tanaka Taichi (38, single) has a regular office job and enjoys playing video games in his free time. He makes potions that are too much of a hassle to make, cooks food that is excessively too good, and uses bizarre original weapons to hunt monsters...

Open-ended, an OK watch time-filler. Nothing too ground-breaking. Maybe a bit of a different take on how NPCs view PCs in MMOs. Though I think The New Gate does it slightly better.

This is underrated. It's fun and fast paced, the MC knows what he wants without being annoying about it, and hones his skills which he's deliberately chosen.

There are a few characters here and there that make you facepalm, but as the series goes on, you start to see why. There's an underlying plot built into this which has yet to be fully explored.

This series needs two things: to stop being judged by its low (and undeserved) rating, and a second season.

Very underrated here as usual I see... also it's NOT an isekai.

This anime is about the in-game life of a random dude, but they managed to tell it in a way that didn't detract from the story, by that I mean it didn't feel like there was no risk since he can't actually die (unlike the max defense girl), so if you ask me they did a good job in that respect, but the story itself I guess wasn't all that interesting or original and it was a bit random, 6/10.

Some say it's childish and sure it might be, but it's about an in-game life, what did you expect ? a final boss ? yeah ok I'll give you that, but there is more to come so who knows, and I do wanna see it.

This follows the MC logging into a virtual-reality video game who goes on adventures, levels up his stats/abilities and meets new characters within the game. Everything in this anime is basic... characters, enjoyment and pacing. This is an isekai meant for a younger audience and while this isn't offensively bad, it's just a run-of-the-mill isekai anime.
