Data was collected through an online self-administered questionnaire from 251 respondents representing professional managers and employees working in several industries/business sectors in MENA region. The findings of this research proved the existence of the relationship between KMEs such as organizational culture, organizational structure, information Technology IT support and KMS. It was highlighted also that job satisfaction can be considered as KM enabler by having a positive impact on KMS. The organizational culture has a full mediating effect on the relationship between job satisfaction and KMS, and a partial mediating effect between organizational structure and IT support from one side and KMS from the other side. Also, there is no moderating effect of gender or age on the relationship between organizational culture and KMS. The study concluded that there is no moderating effect of the business sector nor geographical region on the relationship between IT support and KMS.

This study investigates the relationship between Knowledge Management Enablers KMEs and Job Satisfaction JS in Middle East and North Africa region, MENA region, industrial companies. Although that many researches focused on KMEs, in addition to the availability of several researches about Job Satisfaction, similar studies in MENA region are still lacked. Data was collected through online self-administered questionnaire from 251 respondents representing professional managers and employees working in several industries/business sectors.

To effectively manage the supply chain, efficient design of the entire supply chain network should be established. Researchers have produced extensive literature in the field of supply chain network design. Many of the issues related to the supply chain have been considered separately in these entire designs. Such issues include location of facilities, allocation of customer demand to different facilities, multicommodity, multi-period planning, inventory accumulation, production and distribution issues. It has been concluded that researchers have mostly addressed these different issues separately, and have taken one, two or three of the previous issues at most, simultaneously. In this paper, a mixed integer linear programming model that treats the limitations in the previous models by considering all these issues in a single model is constructed. The proposed model is a capacitated three echelons multi-commodity dynamic production-distribution model with inventory accumulation consideration (CTMDPI). The proposed model was solved using both a combination of two free software packages and LINGO ® optimization package and verified using test models that use empirical data adjusted so that the output can be expected in advance. The CTMDPI model successfully passed all verification tests. The detailed assumptions, formulation, advantages and contributions of the CTMDPI model are presented, together with the testing methodology. Finally, it was implemented to a real world industrial case study.

Deadlocks arise due to competition over resources like pallets or work carriers. Deadlock detection and prevention and/or avoidance procedures and algorithms are required to insure complete and non stop operation of the flow line. In this work we present a colored Petri net (CPN) based deadlock detection and prevention algorithm for a six reliable stations closed flow line producing discrete parts of a single type of product with two variants. The algorithm is based on reachability tree analysis.
