There is a timing problem in ARJ 2.81 and ARJ32 3.10 (distributed between November 2001 and June 2002) that causes a slowdown in adding files to an archive.

This timing problem does NOT exist in the current releases 2.81a and 3.10a. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Registration of the downloaded software:
First, download the latest ARJ/ARJ32 version. Click here to download. Execute the ARJ/ARJ32 self-extractor archive. This will install the software in C:\ARJ or C:\ARJ32. Copy the REGISTER.DAT file (found with the original licensed ARJ/ARJ32 software) to the same directory where the new ARJ.EXE or ARJ32.EXE is installed. Then in the same directory you need to execute the program REGISTER.EXE (examples: register -arj or register -arj32). This registration information can also be found in REGISTER.TXT in the downloaded software.

Contact us if you have problems with the registration process.
