I'm pretty conflicted about casinos on reservations really.

On the one hand, I get that the revenues generated from casinos further help out enrolled tribal members but on the other hand, I absolutely cannot understand gambling and casinos.

I always find casinos eerily freaky as there are no windows and you cannot see what is going on outside. It's like a place you go which reminds me of prison, only voluntary.

I came here because the start of the Poston Pilgrimage was centrally located here. The evening dinner and keynote speaker was also happening in their show room.

The casino was clean and staff were helpful. Bathrooms were working and nothing really to complain about.

Showroom was fine for the purposes needed, spacious and could hold at least 100 - 200 people. Dinner was served here and it was OK. BBQ chicken leg, sad looking salad, beans, corn, some fruit. Dessert were carrot cake, chocolate and lemon cakes. Canned sodas, water and ice tea available for drinks.

I don't think I'll be back here unless another event brings me back.

I'm not much a casino fan, but understand that this helps with disenfranchised peoples' livelihood, so I guess I can live with it.

      The breakfast at the grille
Restaurant was awesome! The prices were very reasonsble.

I went and did a little gambling and the table dealer was nice and smiled as he took my $$. But it was a fun experience

Complaint Regarding Security Staff at BlueWater Resort and Casino

      Dear Management,

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the security staff at BlueWater Resort and Casino. My recent experience has left me profoundly disappointed and concerned about the overall safety and professionalism of your establishment.

During my visit, I encountered multiple instances where the security staff displayed a clear lack of knowledge and competence in performing their duties. Specific issues included:

      1. **Inadequate Knowledge of Security Procedures**: The security personnel appeared unfamiliar with basic protocols, leading to confusion and inefficiency. This lack of training is unacceptable for a facility that should prioritize the safety of its guests.

      2. **Unprofessional Behavior**: On several occasions, I witnessed security staff engaging in unprofessional conduct, including being inattentive and dismissive of guest concerns. Such behavior not only undermines the credibility of your security team but also creates an uncomfortable environment for patrons.

      3. **Failure to Address Security Concerns**: When I approached security with a legitimate concern, I was met with indifference and a lack of action. This response is particularly troubling as it suggests a disregard for guest safety and a failure to take potential threats seriously.

The quality of your security staff is a direct reflection of BlueWater Resort and Casino's commitment to guest safety and satisfaction. Unfortunately, based on my recent experience, it is evident that significant improvements are needed. I urge you to conduct a thorough review of your security team's training and performance to ensure they are adequately prepared to protect and assist your guests.

Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I hope to see swift and effective changes implemented to restore confidence in your security operations.

      Sincerely,
      NonYa

What could improve ? Damn near everything. Prices, service, quality, maintenance and most of all the attitude.
People hate working there and it shows. After 20 plus years there in a row I will do something else.

The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because it was on the water and we used a boat slip. Other than that, it's not worth staying here. We went for Fathers Day weekend with some friends.

Went to check in and nobody was there to help. Had to ring the bell, then the lady acted like we were bothering her. Got our room, went out to the car to get our items. I had a sparkling water in a coozie and was stopped to see what I had, twice.

No Wi-Fi was terrible, I couldn't use my phone the whole time we were here, not once did they say they didn't have Wi-Fi when we booked this stay. Our friend got a beer from the cantina, went into the casino and was immediately stopped and they made him toss it, even though we bought it from their place. I got stopped again for my water. The gym wasn't open, closed indefinitely. People were partying all night in the walkway next to our room, kids screaming at 1am. Water leaked from the floor above us onto our doorway. Ate at the Steakhouse, the staff was super nice but food was eh. No gluten free options anywhere so I ate salads the whole time. Took forever to get drinks from the bar even though it was not busy. Got stopped again for my sparkling water, by a server then security. Never been harassed so much at a casino before, just for a can of sparkling water!

I think I'll stay elsewhere from now on, not worth the prices they charge.

Food was not great nor was it bad. The indoor pool looked great from the top floor but when we went inside it wasn't very big. Our 12 yr old went down the slide twice and she was over the whole thing. The room was ok, it wasn't dirty just looked old. We had a nice view of the lake and could see our boat from the room so that was nice. My husband paid to keep the boat in a slip while we were there which was convenient. He paid $40.00 a night for the slip. Here are some pics that I took on the lake and from inside the hotel and a view from the room. Oh also the staff was friendly. The Mgr at check in was very cool and helpful trying to accommodate us with finding us a room to stay an extra night. They even called us while we were on the lake to let us know someone had cancelled so we could stay in the same room. Housekeeping didn't clean it but that was fine we just got extra towels and called front desk to have them come take out the trash.

This hotel casino is lucky its on the water and has a casino because there's honestly no reason to stay here besides those factors. The service at every desk and restaurant is terrible. The restaurant food is below average at best and the service is so slow. The deli can't even keep pizza in stock and the workers are rude. The wifi only works while you're on the casino floor not anywhere else and property. My favorite part was that the tv in the room "lost signal" at a rate of about 3 times an hour on average. When i called the serviceman he was very quick and provided the best fix he could which was to turn the channel down then up until the signal returned.

Typical tribal casino with limited table games. Decent slot selection but this is a small casino. The little walk up cafe was overwhelmed with customers so it took a while to get a little snack. Bartender made some decent drinks but nothing to call home about. Didn't lose no money today so all in all a good way to kill a few hours on a rainy day by the river.

We had a really good time here. The room was very good for the price, clean and comfortable bed. Maybe needs a little updating like paint touch up and new carpet.
We had a lovely view of the river from our casino tower room.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gladly answered any questions we had.
Breakfast was very affordable and tasty. We had a lot of fun at the slot machines. Won enough money to pay for our room and breakfast! Yeah
While we waited for our room to be ready, we walked down to the river and did some swimming and drank cold liquid refreshments. Fun times.
      We will be back!

We stayed here Mother's Day weekend & were very disappointed in the customer service & cleanliness of this hotel. After getting kids showered and ready for bed the shower would not drain so we weren't able to continue. I go over to one of the beds and there is chunks of hair all over it. keep in mins we don't have red hair and that was the color of it. I lift the sheet and theres a shredded sheet under the comforter. when brought to the supervisors attention she did not seem to care much she did change our room but it almost seemed normal how dirty our room was. not to mention our next roo
was just as gross the sheets had black marks all over but at this point i gave up & went and got us new blankets elsewhere.
