Adrian's Place

My husband and I have been eating here for years. When family came through on their way to Florida we met here for lunch. Our family had been up in the mountains for a couple days seeing the changing of the leaves and said they had mostly eaten fast food and were so sick of it and wanted something really good to eat for lunch.
We knew just where to take them! They couldn't help themselves, they ordered and ate the fried chicken and the meatloaf and all the vegetables and peach cobbler !! and enjoyed every bite. Picture here is my plate which I also enjoyed every bite! I always do. They are the best and the sweetest ladies.

We cannot wait to try Adrian's Place. We will give an honest review. Our plumber has recommended it highly

Fantastic kitchen with the finest southern ladies behind the counter. Food was delicious with hearty and abundant servings.

You can't go wrong checking this place out. Best liver and onions I have had in a long time. Meatloaf and fried chicken were also available. Meat, 3 vegetables, roll or cornbread, peach cobbler and drink for under $11. Can't beat the price!!
Nice people looking after their elderly customers. Nice to see in this day in time.

Really good country (soul) food place with friendly staff. I tried the liver and onion, which was in a lite brown gravy. I got every bit of that gravy with my cornbread muffin. The place has a warm family feel. One of the owners says they will be moving across the street once the new shopping area is completed. Only negative is that they are not open on the weekends. Can't wait to return.

Lord... I'm back home and Mama's in the kitchen! It's getting harder and harder to find a true southern soul food restaurant. Everything had that extra little something that made it just right. I've heard about this place for 15 years but never been able to be here at lunch. Fried Pork Chop took up almost half my dinner plate, The ladies behind the counter gave me permission to pick it up and eat it instead of using a knife...lol. Today was my lucky day!

They have many choices so for $9 you get meat, 3 sides, drink, bread, and dessert . All was very good. I had fried chicken!

Dang good southern cooking. You walk in, pick your meat and sides, and then they just force a peach cobbler right on your tray. Don't bring your momma here if she's the type to ask if it's better than her cooking because you dang right it is. If you have northerner friends, and they ask "what's the south like?" bring them here.

Great food and service reasonably priced. A family atmosphere for a simple home cooked meal where you can sit down and relax. No frills just good cooking for hungry folks without the hype. Fried chicken, pork chops, fish, vegetables, bread, and desert are all on the menu just like Mama used to cook. All served by a friendly staff giving service with a smile.
