For parking early Saturday morning, they tried to charge me $13,000. I'm not making this up; see picture. Had to go to garage office to get out without paying the extortionist charge. Then it was "only" $40 for 2.5 hours (15 minutes of which was finding the office and getting charge fixed).... ugh. Never again!

This is my 3rd favorite parking garage, but only if I'm coming here after 6pm and have something to attend at Prudential. It could be quite expensive otherwise. Pretty straight forward experience. When you're walking back, there's a stretch of stairs by the train station, just go up those stairs until you see the machines to pay your ticket. Also, just use the elevator to make it easier to get in and out.

Super weird experience here. Entered by mistake due to weird road construction and tried to exit immediately after. They attempted to charge me 12 dollars to which I said I just entered. They claimed my time stamp was for an hour ago, and when I tried to pay to just get it over with the attendant gave me really strange attitude and eventually opened gate. Uncomfy to say the least

Yelp doesn't let you add stars without a review. And they make you write a fair amount.

My friend parked here for about 5+ hours, pulling in before 5pm one weekday, and ended up paying $28.
I wish I had known that he was going to do this. I would have directed him to a website which would have cut down the price to $16 - https://boston.centralparking.com/Boston-100-Clarendon-Street-Parking.html
Here, you pay before you head back to your car. A passing worker kindly asked us if we were having trouble paying. Other than a $5 bill being spit out at us several times before finally being accepted, we were fine, and we thanked him for his concern.
The garage seemed roomy enough, but I didn't really care for the drive around and out - that could have been more spacious.
They offer a discount for Red Sox parkers too, according to the sign I saw and took a photo of.
For evening parking after 5pm, their rate is $10, which for the area is not the cheapest option.
At $28 - 3 stars, but since they offer a discount for the plan-aheader daytime parker, 4 stars. Thanks Central Parking.
*** 7/2013 update ***
Looks like the coupon is gone. Sad. Thus, 3 stars.
Here's the site for the rates - https://100clarendon.com/rates.html
*** 1/2015 update ***
Looks like they have a validation agreement with several local businesses -
https://100clarendon.com/rates_validated.html
But note: "All validated tickets must be processed at pay stations located in Clarendon and Dartmouth Lobbies"
*** 10/2016 ***
Nightly Rate - 5pm to 8am - $10
Reasonable now that the cheaper options are now also $10 evenings.

Yesterday was the first and last time that I will park at this Garage. The location is convenient since it's connected to the Backbay MBTA station and close to I-90 as well as my office. However, I would trade this slight convenience for better service and less price gouging. I suppose $35 for 2-10 hours is typical rate for the area. BUT I arrived at 7:30AM... next time I will take my business somewhere that has clearer "earlybird" specials of arriving and leaving before a certain specified time.
They are currently have a lot of construction going on, so the rooftop "early bird" parking rate of $18 is not very feasible especially if the parking spots are reduced. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity to have my parking fee validated. This company probably realizes they have a large customer base already and can't be bothered to provide good service. I attempted to speak with the parking clerk and all he gave me was attitude and malaise. I am not expecting much after reading the other reviews but I will also attempt to contact the higher up customer service.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thiago L.Woburn, MA050Sep 9, 2018
Terrible customer service. I drove in for literally 2 minutes until I saw the price and, when leaving I was charged the full 1h price.
Normally any decent parking comes with 15 min tolerance to avoid situations like this.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Andrei B.Crescenta Highlands, Glendale, CA20292Jul 17, 2017
As I was driving up to look for a parking spot, I saw a group of several large nails laying in the lot. Unfortunately, I was unable to walk back to pick them up because I was running late for my meeting. After my hour and a half meeting, on the way back to my car, I collected all of the nails.
I finally got the time to find this Yelp page and warn others of the obvious disregard displayed by the parking attendants. Unfortunately, I was too late.
To the people that incurred vehicular damages - I'm sorry I didn't pick up the nails right when I saw them. I hope that you are able to get into contact with the parking lot management and be rightfully reimbursed for their astonishing negligence.
Best of luck.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Olivia S.Marlborough, MA77126Jan 4, 2019
I would like to give everyone a heads up, the parking jumps up to $38 dollars if you park for 2 or more hours. It's not expensive but it's not cheap either. The garage layout is very confusing, and trying to go back in is even more confusing.

Apparently, the debris problem at this garage has befallen other customers. However, their reviews have been filtered under "not recommended" thus this business has a much kinder star average than it deserves.
Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jul 17, 2017Previous reviewDon't park here. Got a nail in the tire of my car because they don't care enough to keep their garage up to a basic standard and their floor nail-free. Had already paid before I discovered the nail. After changing the tire (10-20 min in total) they charged me an extra 10$ to get out of that hell hole. Assholes.
