Humlab is a technical and intellectual infrastructure for humanistic issues in relation to information technology and the digital. The unique environment makes it possible to approach research issues in new ways.

Our researchers and technical specialists develop new tools and methods within a wide range of projects. Research at Humlab is often carried out in collaboration with other actors both within and outside Umeå University.
